Design a lifestyle magazine about a Japanese Garden Themed Cafe called, Green at Heart.

Overview

​

The goal is to give the readers a feel of what the nature themed cafe is like when reading it. The emphasis is placed on the captivating photos to attract the readers into reading it.

Covers

​

The images of Japanese Garden are used for the covers with as little words as possible, focusing on the cafe logo and simple heading to arouse the curiosity of the readers.

​

Interiors

​

The colours, fonts and illustrations used reflects the nature theme of the cafe to make the wordings feel like they are part of the photos to give that spiritual feeling.

Conclusion

​

Designing a magazine is challenging as you try not to make it too plain and formal like you are reading a newspaper while at the same time not too colourful which will distract the reader.
