Redesign EDMs for SingHealth and Japan Creative Center.

Overview

The objective is to make them more visually appealing to attract the readers into reading it, while retaining its original colour theme, layout and order of content.

The design for SingHealth is inspired by Oranges which is not only a healthy fruit but which colour also symbolises energy, vitality, energy, warmth and good health.

The design for Japan Creative Center is inspired by Watermelon which is a favourite juicy fruit enjoyed by Japanese people during the hot summer in their country.

Conclusion

There is no change in the user flow process so existing readers will have no issue adjusting to this new design as the goal is to capture the attention of the readers into reading it.

Trying to change the look and feel of a design while retaining its original theme and branding is quite challenging as you do not want to create something entirely different.

The first thing I did was the adjustments like enlarging the photos and fonts, to avoid overwhelming the readers before I move on to the visual design to make it more appealing.
